Your tasks

Our Mission

  • We are creating a new IoT platform to offer digital services for sustainable and energy efficient buildings
  • We believe in the strength of Kieback&Peter to thrive the digital business as there are more than 10.000 buildings commissioned ready to be digitalized
  • We need your engineering skills to build a microservice architecture with the latest ideas of Cloud Native Applications

  • You are architecting and designing the IoT platform together with other architects and lead engineers across teams and disciplines
  • You are responsible for technical decisions (make or buy) and trade-offs with a broad understanding of coding, testing, deploying and operation
  • You govern the platform evolution and empower engineering teams to do their daily work so that platform stays future proof and teams keep their velocity high
  • You initiate research in emergent technologies to keep the development stack up-to-date and to treat innovation as a regular engineering task
  • You evangelize cloud, IoT, innovations within our organization and represent us on conferences, customer events as a key expert

Your profile

  • Strong background in Microsoft Azure, cloud native applications, microservices, streaming, messaging, analytics and security
  • Broad knowledge of cloud services, infrastructure and operation underlaid with at least 3 years practical experience
  • Expert in cloud patterns (serverless) and architectures for scaling platforms. Knowledge of critical infrastructures and related security topics is a big plus
  • Your proficiency embraces Azure/Amazon GCP PaaS services, Infrastrcuture-as-Code, CI/CD, Atlassian tools, multi-team SCRUM processes
  • You are a technical decision maker, driving development, manage parallel tasks, mentor and guide developers
  • You have strong communication skills, passionate about IoT and SmartBuilding and you like to build-up a new team and product from scratch
