Your tasks
Our Mission- We are creating a new IoT platform to offer digital services for sustainable and energy efficient buildings
- We believe in the strength of Kieback&Peter to thrive the digital business as there are more than 10.000 buildings commissioned ready to be digitalized
- We need your engineering skills to build a microservice architecture with the latest ideas of Cloud Native Applications
- Join us if you are interested to work within a diverse group of engineers, product managers and business developers all eager to master the challenges of SmartBuilding
- You design end-to-end features for the IoT platform including device, edge, cloud and micro-services with a strong focus on backend services
- You develop REST and GraphQL based micro-services and use standard protocols like HTTP, WebSockets, MQTT, CoAP, AMQP
- You implement backend services with open source technologies, well-known libraries and Azure PaaS services
- You evolve the design of the platform together with other engineers and architects to ensure consistency, realiability, performance and scalability
- You manage with your team the full lifecycle of the services from requirements to development, testing, deployment and operation
Your profile
- Strong background in backend development for cloud services with Node or C# (other languages welcome like Go, Scala)
- Skilled with Azure PaaS and more than 3 years experience in coding and managing services like messaging, storage and serverless
- Familiar with common design and coding practices for test-driven, domain-driven aproaches to build fast scaling, fail-safe cloud applications
- Experienced with common cloud patterns (serverless, messaging) and PaaS services to solve common tasks (database, security)
- Confident with Git, Atlassian tools, CI/CD, SCRUM process
- Open-minded team player with excellent communication skills in English or German (optional)
