Our mission for a better world

With a culture built on family values and a partnership approach, we use our technology to combat climate change and improve people’s quality of life and social participation. This sense of responsibility is also reflected in our social commitments – from our school project with the Heinrich Mann School in Berlin to our sponsorship of the Füchse Berlin handball team.

Füchse Berlin rely on a comprehensive sustainability concept, both for their core sporting activities and for their ecological, economic and social goals. They, like us, maintain a strong focus on future-oriented topics surrounding the topic of sustainability.

We are both pioneers and standard-bearers in the areas of climate protection, public health and social responsibility.

How can we help busy nursing staff in hospitals to care for their sick patients and facilitate their recovery?

Together with the HUMOR HILFT HEILEN (“Healing through Humor”) foundation established by Dr. Eckart von Hirschhausen, we support training for nurses to teach them how to use humor as a resource to create a healing atmosphere in the newly built Children’s Center at the Bethel Protestant Hospital (EvKB) in Bielefeld.

In addition to providing the technology for smooth, energy-efficient and comfortable building services, we also sponsor all three of the foundation’s training formats at the new Children’s Center: humor interventions during the nurses’ standard training curriculum, training of nursing instructors, and humor training for all nursing teams.

We’re taking climate protection and public health to school! As part of our school sponsorship project, we’re upgrading the technical infrastructure of the Heinrich Mann School in the Neukölln district of Berlin with smart and sustainable building automation solutions.

At the heart of our project, however, is an educational program that actively involves classrooms in the use of digital technologies for sustainable climate protection.

The goal is to make the students of this already environmentally conscious school aware of the risks of global warming, to get them actively involved in climate protection, and to show them the ecological and economic benefits of sustainable resource use.

Climate partnership with the Kassel Huskies

Wherever a lot of energy is consumed, there is great potential for savings: with their enormous energy demand, ice rinks are particularly in need of optimization to become sustainable and fit for the future. We successfully refurbished and digitized the energy systems at Nordhessen Arena, home of the Kassel Huskies, to make it a model of sustainability in the ice hockey world.

Kieback&Peter has since become a climate partner to further promote the project and achieve an energy-neutral rink in Northern Hesse.
