At the "VISION 2045" summit, leading representatives from business and politics jointly develop strategies for a sustainable future and work on their implementation. The focus will be on panel discussions around the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

For the first time, a particular emphasis is also put on smart cities and buildings. The importance of buildings has been recognized because almost all real estates are significant CO emitter today - especially in the sector of existing buildings. Buildings account for 38% of total CO emissions.

At the VISION 2045 SUMMIT, Kieback&Peter, a leading expert for innovative building automation, highlights the importance of energy-efficient buildings for a sustainable future and showcase solutions for optimal building operation.

High time for sustainability

"We’re running out of time," says Christoph Paul Ritzkat. "We recognize that. And as a company, we’re stepping up and taking responsibility for our climate. We want to create a sustainable path forward using innovative building automation and digitalization to make the world a better place. But to do this, we all need to work together. VISION 2045 SUMMIT 2022 is our opportunity to network with other stakeholders. We believe optimizing existing buildings is the key to achieving climate goals. And our company is committed to becoming climate neutral by 2027."

80% of all the buildings that will span the globe in 2050 are now standing. Kieback&Peter's innovative solutions, such as our CO₂-reduction roadmap, help make buildings more energy- and cost-efficient. These creative approaches to reducing CO emissions make it easier for property investors, owners, and operators to tackle some of the greatest challenges of our time, namely environmental protection, digitalization, and sustainability.
