Responsibilities/Tasks

• Design and realize end-to-end features of our data and application platform
• Develop RESTful and GraphQL microservices utilizing protocols such as HTTP, WebSockets or MQTT.
• Implement scalable and reliable backend services, primarily deployed on Kubernetes, using open-source technologies and state-of-the-art libraries.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to evolve platform design and to ensure consistency, reliability, performance and scalability.
• Drive the complete lifecycle of backend services, encompassing requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and operational maintenance.

Your Profile

• Extensive experience in backend development within microservice architectures
• Proficient in at least two programming languages and their ecosystems, such as C# .NET, JVM-based languages (Java, Scala, Kotlin), Node.js, or Python.
• Skilled with cloud computing and more than 3 of years experience in implementing and managing services for data and stream processing
• Deeply familiar with design and coding principles, with confidence in test-driven and domain-driven development.
• Experienced in leveraging service-oriented patterns to address challenges in data streaming, processing, analysis, persistence, and security.
• Confident with usual DevOps practices and agile development
• Open-minded team player with excellent communication skills in English or German (optional)
